Steve/Danny mpreg fic out there?!

I've read 6 (1 of those is a series so I didn't count the other stories in it) where Steve was pregnant and 4 where Danny was pregnant (again, 1 was apart of a series and I didn't count the other stories in it)

the one Steve/Chin where Steve is pregnant.

and kind of in the same line of thought, I want to do a story where Danny is a girl and with Steve and ends up pregnant, but damn it, my writing plate is full enough as it is (I have mini-freak outs at least once a day that I'm not going to be able to complete the 3 big bangs I signed up for). Clearly 2012 is my year for writing or something

I'm just wondering, what appeals to you about these stories? I'm really curious because I'm the opposite - if I see mpreg, I quickly move on. I have read one mpreg story in another fandom that I loved, however.

I honestly don't know. When I first read it years ago when I was in the pop fandom, I didn't understand it and it didn't appeal to me. Then I read one in the 5-0 fandom that was really well written that I decided to look for more.

Sometimes the science of it, if that's mentioned, can be intriguing.

In the one I read and really liked, they took the baby out of the man to gestate...in something else...I don't recall the details, but you were spared the man getting really pregnant and giving birth. It sounds weird but the author made it work. As with most things, it probably depends on the skill of the author as to whether the fic works. I should probably be more open-minded, LOL.

as for the giving birth parts, it's all been c-section, or it was just never mentioned.

it doesn't surprise me that there's mpreg in that fandom since Jack is omnisexual/pansexual, assuming he was the one to be pregnant. I see Owen freaking out way too much for it to be him, and Ianto...well it could be him.
