this must be what boredom is like

It feels like I've been spamming today. Is it a slow news/fic/whatever day or something? This will be my 3rd post for the day, but omg so bored! But I think I was kind of productive. I made my mom and I breakfast, watched Star Wars V, slept, watched Mission: Impossible, washed 2 loads of clothes, currently watching Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus and when its done I'll be watching Stargate and possibly planning dinner.

earlier I finished reading an H50/SGA/Predators fic on AO3 called Hunted by Taste_is_Sweet and that's put me in even more of a mood to watch Stargate

back to watching Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus (after 4 times, it's STILL cheesy lol)

How's that fic? I've been contemplating reading it, as I read the one right before it. I'm just annoyed that it's posted as one chapter. I'll have to see aside time over the weekend for it.

I thought it was pretty good. I've only seen a handful of SGA episodes and can't recall the last time I saw Predators, but it was more or less easy to follow. I was hoping that S/D was more established, but I guess it was like pre-slash with the subtle "how long have you guys been married?" kind of thing

I hated that it was posted in 1 chapter as well, so what I did was download it in PDF format then make a note of where I left off reading.

I read what amounted to 33 pages on AO3, then an additional 10 pages before finally going to bed and when I woke up, I read the rest (from 44-118 pgs)

I keep refreshing my f-list and AO3 (and to a lesser extent FF.net) hoping for something new, but so far no luck.

haven't watched it yet. I have it on my netbook hard drive, I just need to find the time (and frame of mind) to watch it.

That's a good idea. I'd forgotten that I could do that. I've skipped over a few fic, because they were posted that way, and I didn't have time to read it all in one go.

OMG. I do the same thing. Stalking AO3 and my friends page. Not so much ff.net. I post there but don't read much. Not a lot of Danny/ Steve is posted and it's my main interest.

even some of the fics I've come across that are chaptered have really long chapters. I don't think there's a need for a fic to have 1 chapter that like 20k words. break that down into 2 or 3 chapters. It'd be much easier to read.
