You know what...no!

You don't get to make snide comments and question where I'm going to get money to go back to school.

You don't get to tell me what I should be doing! This is my life and if you have a problem with it, KICK ME THE FUCK OUT!

I know I need a job. I'm doing what I need to do to get a full time job and I'm sorry if it's not happening fast enough for you. You think I'm happy still being here?!

yup pretty much.

financial aid is only paying for the classes I need for my degree, so sadly I won't be able to take a foreign language unless I have the money to pay for it out of pocket. Enrollment is $46/unit, so Spanish class would be $184 plus the cost of books!

Yikes. I forgot how much CSUs are. Can you take the language classes at an adult college or community college? They might be a little cheaper.

This is at the community college! I'll be going to cerritos for like 8 classes, then transferring to CSU Dominguez Hills. Maybe there I'll be able to take Spanish.

Yikes! I know the price has been going up even at the CC level, but still. That's almost double what I paid back in '05 at El Camino. That's too bad they won't consider language classes for you, since that'll help tremendously with your career path. I wish I'd remember the 7 years of Spanish I took in middle school and high school, or even the 2 semesters of Japanese. Have you looked into Rosetta Stone? Or is that pretty expensive too?

If I got all 5 levels of Rosetta Stone, it's $350-$500. Way more than taking it at school.

Whoa. Yeah, no way. Maybe you can start with Spanish for Dummies lol At least you can practice with something like that until you can get an actual class. Those books are really useful!
