I'm glad your doctor has ordered an ultrasound for you. That's probably the best way to check that everything's ok. (If they see something and you wind up having to do a biopsy, make sure you take painkillers before going into the biopsy appointment because the statement "some cramping may occur" is a definite understatement. Hopefully though, everything will come out ok and you won't have to go through that.)
