rock (me) hard place
according to the DMV, I have about 7 days to do my behind the wheel test before my permit expires and I have to do the whole process (eye examine & written test) over again.
I HATE asking people for favors, but I really don't have the $95-$120 to pay some driving school to use their car. I could ask my sister, but she's like on call as a sub or something and they can literally call her the day before and ask her to come in. Then there's my nosy neighbor. Besides her being nosy, I just don't like her. She goes on and on about these grandchildren and nieces/nephews who know how to do all sorts of things (usually computer related), but she never calls on them for help. It's always me (or my dad after she asks my mom for permission). There are other people I could ask, but they live rather far away and I don't want to put them out for like 2 hours.
